Anthracite Officials Had Refused to Present One of the Agreements.


One of the “65-35 per cent.” contracts between the independent operators and the coal companies controlled by the anthracite railroad interests was produced in copy yesterday before the Inter-State Commerce Commission at a session of the hearings on the petition of William R. Hearst. The contract, which was produced by Lawyer Clarence J. Shearn for the petitioner, was admitted as evidence.
